Fundraiser for Ben Abercrombie'21

Join fellow Harvard fans to cheer on the Crimson as the Men’s Basketball team takes on Brown on Saturday, January 27 at Brown’s Pizzitola Sports Center!

The Harvard Club of RI will be hosting an exciting pre-game event at Flatbread Pizza Company, where we will be joined by Bob Scalise, the John D. Nichols ’53 Family Director of Athletics at Harvard. Meet fellow fans for pizza and drinks before the game, and hear from Bob about the nation’s largest Division I athletics program.

The event will also be a fundraiser for Harvard football player Ben Abercrombie ’21, who suffered a severe neck injury during his first college game at URI this fall and remains paralyzed. The Harvard Varsity Club started the Abercrombie Fund to support Ben and his family through his arduous recovery process.

Tickets include pre-game pizza and appetizers and a seat in the Harvard Club’s reserved section. Each ticket also includes a small donation to the Abercrombie Fund; additional donations can be made online or in person at the pre-game event.
