HCRI@RIPBS: an exclusive evening with world-renowned, Newport-based nautical photographer Onne van der Wal. 

 

Join us at Rhode Island PBS studios for an exclusive evening with world-renowned, Newport-based nautical photographer Onne van der Wal.  The event will include screening of segments from the new Rhode Island PBS documentary Second Wind: The Snoek Refit with Onne van der Wal, which chronicles Onne’s solo, hands-on refit of his Pearson 36, from stem to stern.  We’ll also hear from Onne himself regarding the challenging, exhausting, and ultimately exhilarating process for this sailboat renovation, as well as his unique career traveling the world as a marine photographer.
