Become A Member
We welcome you to become a member or renew your membership in the Harvard Club of Rhode Island. Membership is open to students and graduates of all Harvard schools as well as parents of Harvard students. Members receive discounted rates to several events over the year, inclusion in the Annual Dinner and most importantly play a key role in supporting our philanthropic efforts, notably:
- +40 Harvard Book Awards that we donate to area high schools
- Annual donations to our endowed scholarships that support tuition expenses for Rhode Island's Harvard students
- Community service days to help RI youth improve their interviewing skills and more
- Recruiting and interviewing expenses to support our Schools & Scholarships Committee
The HCRI is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Your dues are generally tax-deductable. Our all volunteer leadership team is working to keep our costs as low as possible. We have not raised our dues in decades, and this year have added free membership status for all graduates for their first ten years as an alum.
Below are the details for joining our three classes of membership. If you are a current student or an alumnus, please sign in with your HarvardKey user ID and password before registering for membership. This will allow our website to authenticate your status and eligibility for membership. Once you are logged in, please select your membership level to complete your transaction. If you need help working in the new online system, please be sure you are registered for your Harvard Key via https://key.harvard.edu. If you need more help, please email us via hcri@post.harvard.edu and we will arrange for payment via check or venmo.
